I had a walk around the wood, and turned my attention to finding another Ophiocordyceps ditmarii, which I did manage to find after two hours of painstaking searching.
Ophiocordyceps ditmarii, above and below. The fly was decomposed to a significantly greater degree, compared to the previous two specimens I found.
Synchytrium taraxaci, above and below.
A Crocicreas species, growing on a Rubus stem.
Snowy Disco (Lachnum virgineum) on a Rubus stem.
Well done for perseverence on the Cordyceps. Did you put the other finds on this blog or your own?
ReplyDeleteCan't find them.
Hi Steve,
ReplyDeleteThanks.
I put them on this blog, as I'm running behind on my own blog.
