It was the Halifax Scientific Society's walk this afternoon to look at bog plants, lead by Hugh Firman and there was a good attendance on this beautiful summers day. In the field we found this Panaeolus semiovatus growing on some cow dung, and thankfully the cows today were better behaved than the feisty heifers at Wade Wood.
