Here are a couple of fungi seen at Newt Corner, Cromwell Bottom on Saturday 15th Dec 2012
This Bracket was smooth underneath with maze-like pores
Blushing Bracket Daedaleopsis confragosa tricolor
Jelly Ear
Auricularia auricula-judae ?
The palest I have ever seen
(can you see the cat)?
The "cat" is on the tree at 5 o'clock to the fungus
ReplyDeleteGot the pretty kitty! Maybe it's Brown Cup Rustroemia firma?????? That gets wrinkled as it ages. I'm no expert, Steve will know!
ReplyDeleteThe top one could be Daedaleopsis confragosa (Blushing Bracket).
ReplyDeleteThe bracket is now very likely to be Gloeophyllum sepiarium Conifer Mazegill
ReplyDeletePictures will be on a new post.
