Hardcastle Crags 10-11-12

We had a very successful foray that day. There was fungi everywhere and we were almost tripping over it,  there were so may species to be found. 

Candlesnuff Fungus (Xylaria hypoxylon), above and below.

Jelly Ear (Auriclaria auricula-judae).

Oyster Mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus), above and below.

Hen of the Woods (Grifola frondosa), above and below.

Artists Bracket (Ganoderma applanatum), above and below.

Velvet Shank (Flammulina velutipes) and a small Inkcap (Coprinopsis) species growing on the same trunk.

Glistening Inkcap (Coprinus micaceus) above and below.
