Here are a few of the things that Oliver and I found in the Crags over two consecutive days.
Glistening Inkcap (Coprinellus micaceus).
Crested Coral (Clavulina coralloides)
False Chanterelle (Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca) above and below.
Amethyst Deceiver (Laccaria amethystina) above and below.
Honey Fungus (Armillaria mellia).
Flat Oysterling (Crepidotus applanatus) above and four below.
It has large, inflated cheilocystidia.
Deer Shield (Pluteus cervinus) above and two below.
Horned cheilocystidia.
Yellow Stagshorn (Calocera viscosa).
Beech Jellydisc (Neobulgaria pura).
Collared Mosscap (Rickenella swartzii).
Jellybaby (Leotia lubrica).
Dryad's Saddle (Polyporus squamosus).

Ceratiomyxa frutioculosa - a slime mould.

Orange Mosscap (Rickenella fibula).

Bay Bolete (Boletus badius) above and two below. This was growing out of the trunk of a Pine tree.

Oliver's find of the day - Saffron Milkcap (Lactarius deliciosus).
This has been on our hit list for ages so we were very pleased to see it growing under the Pines

It has a lovely orange pitted stipe.

Orange gills that exude orange milk when cut and they gradually bruise blue/green after time.

The cap is quite dull and you would never think it was so colourful underneath.

It has carrot orange flesh.
Spores ornamented with warts and network, 7-8.5 x 6-7 microns.
