HSS Foray 12-10-13

Continuing on from Steve's blog - here are are few more photographs of what we saw.

Fly Agaric (Amanita muscaria).

Honey Fungus (Armillaria mellea) - they were found to be covering many of the birches.

Brown Birch Bolete (Leccinum scabrum).

Ugly Milkcap (Lactarius turpis).

Oyster Mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) - an aged example with yellowing gills found on Sorbus aucuparia.

Common Earthball (Scleroderma citrinum).

Peppery Bolete (Chalciporus piperatus) - above and below.

White Saddle (Helvella crispa).

Silky Pinkgill (Entoloma sericeum var. sericeum).

Petticoat Mottlegill (Panaeolus papilionaceus var. papilionaceus).

Liberty Cap (Psilocybe semilanceata).

A grey Lactarius species that we found has puzzled me and I cannot put a name to it.
