More Heteromycophaga glandulosae

This specimen was identified for us by Peachysteve at Cromwell Wood Sunday 16th February.


The pale wart is the H.glandulosae growing on Witches Butter Exidia glandulosa growing on a dead oak branch lying on the ground.


Below - Rowan timber (Sorbus aucuparia) stained by Green Elfcup, Chlorocibaria aeruginascens,  as used by cabinetmakers and fretwork craftsmen. Found at Barkisland this month.
